Bill Whelan – 75th Birthday Celebration

The GRAMMY-winning Irish composer, producer, and performer Bill Whelan gathers fellow artists and special guests for two nights of music and jubilee.

The concerts will reflect Bill’s musical path and the people he has encountered throughout his career along side his work with young Irish musicians.  The evenings will include a variety of music, such as Flying Blind to be performed by Bill on the piano and Timedance, The Coast Of Galicia, Caoineadh Cu Chulainn, Riverdance and more.  Joining him on stage are some of Ireland’s best young Traditional and Classical players.

Bill will also read from his recent memoir The Road To Riverdance, written with humour and warmth, the book pays tribute to those who formed his world.
